Just because Dodge is trying to increase the miles per gallon ratings on autos like the Dodge Charger does not mean the automaker is no longer going to produce enhanced performance vehicles. The American automaker is teaming up with MOPAR to deliver the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8.
The American automaker's latest improved cars are the 2012 Challenger SRT8 392 Yellow Jacket, and the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee, which will both soon be available at Battison Auto Group - 8703 N. Hwy 81 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Both enhanced vehicles are powered by the all new 6.4-liter Hemi V8, which delivers 470 horsepower as well as 470 lb.-ft. of torque. Standard transmission is a six-speed manual, with five-speed automatic optional.
It only takes four seconds for the powerful Dodge Challenger SRT8 Yellow Jacket to hit 0 - 60 mph.
Charger SRT8 Super Bee also hits 0 - 60 mph in "the high-4-second range." It even zips by the quarter-mile mark in 12-seconds, while reaching 100 mph in less than 16 seconds.1
Both enhanced cars reach a top speed of 175 mph. It should go without saying that, these aren't your typical commuter cars.
